It is madness, this is not promoting Peace, just delaying the continual harassment and atrocity to Palestinians. Somebody needs a psychoanalyst, this is sickness, and a lack of ability to analyze what is just , or a confusion about what is right and what is wrong or downright evil.
We shouldn’t forget that Israel was created by the criminal act of driving people off their land and never giving them any compensation., all the while using violence and massacre. That is crme.

Arthur, East Jerusalem was ‘given’ to the Palestinians, by Jordan, years after Israel had won that land in a defensive war against Jordan. I guess I’m old-school, and believe that losing a war that you started means that you actually lose something.

Jordan treated their Palestinians like dogs, but perhaps for a reason (think Black September).

Jim: I don’t know what to think now about Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s latest thinking about the Isreal and Palestinian “peace process”, except that both of them are apparently terrified of the political power of Israel on the American voters. Yet both are basically intelligent people . Certainly they each are gifted with much more intelligence than was President Bush II. So why are they so afraid of Netanyahu as shown by their most recent efforts to appease him? Why can’t they call his bluff and join with our many allies to do what is right? I guess the answer is simply “politics” and the next election or even the one after that. And that is indeed sad.

There are plenty of prophetic voices around today, but none with the kind of stature of an MLK to give voice to the outrage of this administration’s appeasement of Israel and sellout of the Palestinians. Pray we make up with numbers what we lack in a national figure with the integrity of Dr. King.

Obama’s approach to the ME negotiations is not based on fear of either Jews or Congress. He desperately wants a ME agreement to allow him to get that undeserved Nobel Peace Prize out of layaway. He has shown that he’s willing to do almost anything to get Abu Mazen back to the table.

Control of the Jordan Valley for only 1 year? That hardly seems appropriate.

How is East Jerusalem “non-negotiably” Arab soil now? Jerusalem was intended to be an international city per the UN partition – the Arabs rejected the plan and Jordan took over Jerusalem, and never gave it to the Palestinians until it wasn’t theirs to give anymore.
